republicans: damage control, again.

One: George Bush II admits Iraq had nothing to do with the September 11, 2001 attacks. Two: The United States Senate officially declares that there was and no link between al-Qaeda and Iraq. Of course those who voted for George Bush should have known this four years ago. Or three years ago. Or two years ago. Or last year. The funny thing is, many of Bush’s supporters will continue to believe that there is link, or worse yet, believe the recent admittance and findings and yet continue to follow Bush’s “new” grand scheme of a benevolent war for freedom and democracy around the world. Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, Tamil, Chechyens. They’re all the same. They’re all terrorists.

Progress For America, funded by backers of the Bush administration, has released a new ad that makes sure that fear is still fresh in the memories of all Americans. There are people who hate you. Hate your values. They want to kill you. Mantra. Mantra. Mantra. Repetition equals truth. Mantra. Mantra. Mantra.

Mantra. Mantra. Mantra. Repeat.

It has nothing to do with American foreign policy for the last one hundred years.

It has nothing to do with injustice.

They are evil. We are good.

Mantra. Mantra. Mantra.

Brad, hello. Stumbled across your site looking for an article by Raban. A great post about Islam. I know that this is going to sound incredibly bad mannered but how do I get the same ‘theme’ that you’re using? Just to show that I’m not a complete nutter you can read some of my (rather poor) writing at BagginsandCo.
    Salaams,

    Khalid.

Thank you for the response khalidmir. Unfortunately, the link to your site was broken but I would be happy to take a look at whatever you have.

No problem Brad. It wasn’t meant to come across as a bit of self-advertising ! I’ve left a brief comment on your ‘religion of peace?’ post.

    Khalid.

I have no problem with self-advertising, that is how us bloggers ’survive’. What I meant was that the blogspot link was dead. However, I have found the problem and will correct it.

I suppose this is the un-answered question that you are referring to. I am unsure how to answer this. Are you inquiring on the Wordpress theme (”Regulus”)?

  6. khalidmir Says:

    That be the one. Ta!

    Regards,

    K.
